With community-wide collaboration, every woman exploited is given an opportunity to reclaim her identity and purpose. We believe this is best accomplished by offering a long-term residential program complete with resources and services designed to equip women for a fresh start. Our residential program will be divided into three phases:
This will be a 4-6 week assessment phase to evaluate a woman's readiness as well as her physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs before moving into the long-term residential home.
This phase will be 12-18 months, focusing on sobriety, trauma care, education and life skill development.
The final phase will empower women by equipping them with the skills needed for independent and sustainable living.
Operating a residential program involves individuals from a variety of sectors joining together to ensure that every need is met. In order to provide holistic care to the women living in the home, we will offer comprehensive services that include mental health care, medical care and spiritual care. To make this happen, a breadth of individuals are needed to ensure that 24/7 support is provided to the women staying in the home.
To promote the sustainability of this endeavor, we hope to invite Created Gainesville supporters to walk alongside us by choosing a specific financial need that speaks to their experience. Our Fund-A-Need model allows supporters to have freedom over how their gift is invested, and offers insight into the plethora of expenses that build the foundation of our residential program. We hope that seeing these specific needs will allow you to connect your giving with a unique part of your story.
Additionally, if you are interested in learning more about the financial breakdown of operating our residential program, please fill out the form below and we will be happy to provide you with that information. Thank you for helping us restore the lives of women!
