Created Gainesville is the only program in North Central Florida dedicated to supporting survivors of sex trafficking. We offer vital comprehensive restoration programs that provide survivors with the tools for exiting a life of survival and complex trauma, and gaining a life of newfound freedom and empowerment.
Survivors of sex trafficking face tremendous risk factors, and without the support of an organization like Created Gainesville, these risks can become cyclical and devastating. These risks include, but are not limited to, repeat cycles of abuse and trafficking, incarceration followed by immediate re-exploitation upon release, threats of violence for noncompliance, homelessness, untreated medical and mental health concerns, violence-induced injuries, and an increase in substance use as a means of control.
