Now more than ever, clarity is crucial in understanding the realities behind the complex web of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. Over the past 9 years working with survivors we have seen our community both succeed and fall short in caring for those impacted by sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. With that, we want to ensure that we are using our voice to be a bridge between our community and the survivors affected by what is happening around us. Our new vision statement reflects our heart to address these issues in a holistic and dignifying way through prevention, intervention, restoration and awareness. PREVENTION will not be possible without empowering the next generation of young people who are at the crux of vulnerabilities and challenges. We want to ensure that the loudest voices in their lives are the ones carrying truth, reminding them that they are valued and their voice matters. INTERVENTION allows us to extend hope in darkness, meeting women in whatever circumstance they are in. Our outreaches allow us to stop and listen to the stories, dreams, and concerns of women impacted by sex trafficking and sexual exploitation and connect them to needed resources. RESTORATION invites women into the journey of reclaiming their lives through our holistic residential and non-residential programs. Through community building, trauma counseling, and skill development survivors are given the space to reclaim what makes them, them. AWARENESS is central in writing a new narrative where all are free from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. We believe that each person, regardless of where they come from, has a part to play in denormalizing the cultural standards that allow this industry to persist.
